1.2 User Eligibility and Agreement

To access our services, you confirm your residency in the Republic of Ireland and agree to the specified legal obligations. Failure to comprehend or accept these Terms & Conditions necessitates refraining from using our service.

1.3 Usage Limits

While there is no defined limit to consultations, we reserve the right to restrict usage on an individual basis if usage is deemed excessive.

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on the website and will take immediate effect upon publication. Disagreement with any part of these terms warrants refraining from using our services.

3. Registration and Patient Responsibilities

3.1 Registration and Access

Access our services by registering and creating a secure online patient record. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if deemed harmful.

3.2 Patient Commitments

Patients commit to the following responsibilities:

  • Provide truthful and comprehensive responses to all questions.
  • Do not attempt to re-register.
  • Do not register or complete questionnaires on behalf of another person.
  • Before taking any medications prescribed by our physicians, carefully read each message on your secure online medical record and adhere to the instructions provided for each medication. If you are uncertain about how to take a prescribed medication, contact us for clarification and avoid using the medication until you fully understand the instructions.
  • Acknowledge the professional judgment of CallDoc's Online Physicians if they determine that receiving a desired medication without an in-person consultation is not in your best interest.
  • Show respect to our physicians and staff. We do not tolerate any form of abuse. We reserve the right to delete your patient record and refund any pending orders in the event of such behavior.
  • With your cooperation and upon your written provision of your primary care physician's name and address, we will always offer to notify your primary care physician of any medications prescribed by our physicians.
  • Ensure that no one else has access to any prescriptions for medications provided to you.
  • Verify that prescriptions for medications issued in anticipation of a medical emergency are not used beyond their expiration date.
  • Inform CallDoc through your online patient record if you experience any adverse reactions to prescribed medications or believe a medication we provided was ineffective.

3.3 Physician Commitments

Physicians commit to professional responsibility, transparency, and judicious medication prescriptions. Controlled medications, including anxiolytics, potent analgesics, sedatives, hypnotics, and medications requiring specialized prescribing and monitoring, or those administered via injection (except as explicitly listed on our website), will not be issued.

3.4 Patient Cooperation

Patients must provide truthful responses, refrain from re-registering, and follow instructions for prescribed medications.

3.5 Respect and Communication

Patients must show respect to physicians and staff. Any form of abuse will lead to record deletion and order refunds.

4. Medication Prescription and Order Management

4.1 Assessment and Prescription

Before approving prescriptions, our physicians conduct a comprehensive assessment of clinical suitability. It's important to note that certain prescriptions, such as controlled medications like potent analgesics, anxiolytics, sedatives, hypnotics, and medications requiring specialized prescribing and monitoring, or those administered via injection (except as explicitly listed on our website), will not be issued by our doctors.

4.2 Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within three working days after approval, taking up to five to ten working days to reflect on bank or credit card statements.
